What size water heater do I need?+
For most families, 40 or 50 gallons. Bigger households, soaking tubs and large showers push it higher. We'll ask a few questions and size it right.
Do I need an expansion tank?+
In most of the valley, yes. Closed plumbing systems with a pressure regulator need somewhere for heated water to expand, and code requires it.
What about a heat-pump water heater?+
They use a third of the electricity of a standard electric tank and qualify for substantial rebates. They need a bit of space and air around them, so they're a good fit for garages and larger utility rooms.
