How Bright Peak started
Mark Hollister spent twelve years as a service technician for two of the larger HVAC companies in the valley. He liked the work. He didn't like being measured on how much he sold per call.
In 2015 he and his wife Jenna started Bright Peak out of their garage in Southeast Boise with one van and a promise: show the customer the problem, price the work before you do it, and never recommend something the house doesn't need. The name came from the view of Shafer Butte from their driveway.
Eleven years on there are more vans and a shop on the Bench, but the technicians are still paid for doing the job right, not for what they sell. Mark still runs calls when the board is full, and Jenna still answers the phone more often than she'd admit.

The Bright Peak promise
Our name is on every job. We'll tell you the truth about your system, even when the truth is that it's fine. We'll show you the price before any work starts and stick to it. And if you're not happy with the work, we'll come back and make it right, at no charge, until you are.

How we work
How a replacement visit goes
- 01
We listen
Where do you spend your time? Which rooms are never right? How many people, how many pets, what's the budget? We ask before we recommend.
- 02
We look at the house
Orientation, windows, insulation, ductwork, the existing equipment. A load calculation, not a guess from the old nameplate.
- 03
We recommend
Two or three options with installed prices, the rebates that apply, financing if you want it, and which one we'd put in our own house.

What your neighbors are saying
“Our furnace quit on a Sunday night in January. They were here Monday morning, showed me the cracked igniter, gave me a price and had it running in under an hour. No upsell, no drama.”
“Second opinion saved us thousands. Another company said we needed a whole new system. Bright Peak found a failed capacitor and a dirty coil. That was two summers ago and it's still running fine.”
“They installed two ductless heads in our old North End house in a day. The crew was polite, cleaned up, and walked us through the remotes. We finally have air conditioning.”
