A new air conditioner, sized and installed properly
Adding central air to a house that never had it, or replacing a unit that's done? Either way, the installation decides how the system performs for the next fifteen years.
We run a load calculation so the unit matches the house. Oversized systems short cycle and leave the air clammy; undersized ones run all day. We match the indoor coil to the outdoor unit, check the ductwork can move the air, and commission the system with real measurements.
You'll see two or three options with installed prices, the rebates that apply, and the difference between them explained in plain words.

Options
What we install
Central air
A matched outdoor condenser and indoor coil on your existing furnace. The most common setup in the valley.
Heat pumps
Cooling in summer, heating in winter, one system. The biggest rebates available.
Ductless mini-splits
For older homes without ducts, additions, shops and bonus rooms.
High-efficiency upgrades
Variable-speed systems that run quieter, hold temperature steadier and cost less to run.
What happens on installation day
A crew arrives in the morning. The old unit is recovered and removed, the new coil goes on the furnace, the outdoor unit is set on a level pad, new line set and electrical are run as needed, and the system is evacuated and charged by weight, then verified by measurement. We set up the thermostat, walk you through it, and clean up. Most installs are done in a day.

AC Installation questions
How much does a new AC cost in Boise?+
It depends on the size of the house and the equipment level. Our instant quote tool gives a typical installed range in about a minute, and a visit turns that into a firm number.
Can you add AC to a house with only a furnace?+
Yes. That's one of our most common jobs. We add a coil to the furnace and an outdoor unit, and check that the blower and ducts can handle the cooling airflow.
How long does AC installation take?+
One day for most replacements and add-ons. Ductwork changes or a new electrical circuit can add time, and we'll tell you up front.
Which brand do you recommend?+
We install several and will tell you which model we'd put in our own house for your budget. Honestly, the installation quality matters more than the brand.

What your neighbors are saying
“Our furnace quit on a Sunday night in January. They were here Monday morning, showed me the cracked igniter, gave me a price and had it running in under an hour. No upsell, no drama.”
“Second opinion saved us thousands. Another company said we needed a whole new system. Bright Peak found a failed capacitor and a dirty coil. That was two summers ago and it's still running fine.”
“They installed two ductless heads in our old North End house in a day. The crew was polite, cleaned up, and walked us through the remotes. We finally have air conditioning.”
