Your heating and cooling company in Boise

Bright Peak is based in Boise, so this is home turf. We run service calls from the North End to Southeast Boise, up into the foothills and out to the Bench, and we know the housing stock: 1920s bungalows with no ducts, 1970s ranches with original furnaces, and new builds in Harris Ranch with systems that were never commissioned properly.

Boise sits in a high desert valley. Summers push past 100 with wildfire smoke some years; winters bring inversions that trap cold air for weeks. Equipment here works hard in both directions, and the right system for a Boise home is one sized and set up for that swing.

Whatever you've got, we can fix it, replace it or keep it running. Flat-rate pricing, same-day service in season, and a technician who'll explain what they found.

Boise weather and your system

The valley inversion is the thing out-of-towners don't expect. For a week or more in January, cold air pools under a lid of warmer air, the fog sets in and the temperature barely moves. A furnace runs almost continuously, which is when a weak igniter or a dirty flame sensor finally gives out. Fall maintenance exists for exactly this.

In summer, cottonwood fluff along the river and the canals mats onto outdoor coils in June, right before the heat arrives. A coil wash in late spring is the single most useful thing we do for Boise air conditioners.

What your neighbors are saying

★★★★★
“Our furnace quit on a Sunday night in January. They were here Monday morning, showed me the cracked igniter, gave me a price and had it running in under an hour. No upsell, no drama.”

“Second opinion saved us thousands. Another company said we needed a whole new system. Bright Peak found a failed capacitor and a dirty coil. That was two summers ago and it's still running fine.”
Lisa H. · Meridian

“They installed two ductless heads in our old North End house in a day. The crew was polite, cleaned up, and walked us through the remotes. We finally have air conditioning.”

Boise questions

Do you serve all of Boise?+

Yes, every neighborhood from the North End to Southeast Boise, the Bench, West Boise and the foothills. Our shop is on the Bench, so most of the city is a short drive.

My older Boise home has no ductwork. What are my options?+

Ductless mini-splits. They heat and cool room by room with no ducts, and they're the right answer for most North End and East End homes. We've installed a lot of them.

Can you work on the system in my new build?+

Yes. We see plenty of new homes whose systems were installed quickly and never commissioned. A proper check of charge, airflow and thermostat setup usually fixes the comfort complaints.
