- Family owned
- Licensed & insured
- Flat-rate pricing
- Same-day service
Cool when it matters, which is July
Boise summers run hot and dry, with long stretches over 95 and smoke some years, so an air conditioner here works long hours from June through September. When the AC quits in the middle of that, the house becomes hard to live in within a few hours.
Bright Peak repairs every major brand, replaces systems that have run their course, and tunes up the good ones each spring so they're ready before the first 100-degree week.
You'll know the price before any work starts, and if a repair doesn't make sense against the age of the unit, we'll show you what a replacement would cost instead. Your call, no pressure.

The parts of a cooling system
Central air is a system, not a box. The outdoor condenser, the indoor coil on top of the furnace, the refrigerant lines between them, the blower that moves the air and the ductwork that carries it all have to work together. When one piece falters, the whole thing loses ground.
That's why we look at the system, not just the part that failed. A new condenser on a dirty indoor coil will struggle from day one.
Repair, replace or tune up?
Under ten years old with a single failed part: repair it. Over twelve, with a compressor failure or a refrigerant leak on an older refrigerant: replace it, and take the rebates. Runs fine but hasn't been serviced in two summers: a tune-up now will cost a fraction of the breakdown later.

Air Conditioning questions
How quickly can you fix my AC in summer?+
No-cool calls move to the front of the line in hot weather. Most are seen the same day. Comfort Club members get priority scheduling ahead of everyone else.
How often should my AC be serviced?+
Once a year, in spring. A tune-up cleans the coils, checks the charge and the electrical parts, and catches the capacitor that was going to fail in July.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?+
Under ten years with a single part failure, repair. Past twelve with a compressor or refrigerant problem, replace. If it's in between, we'll quote both so you can compare.
Do you service ductless mini-splits?+
Yes. We install, repair and maintain ductless systems, and they're the right answer for a lot of older Boise homes without ductwork.

What your neighbors are saying
“Our furnace quit on a Sunday night in January. They were here Monday morning, showed me the cracked igniter, gave me a price and had it running in under an hour. No upsell, no drama.”
“Second opinion saved us thousands. Another company said we needed a whole new system. Bright Peak found a failed capacitor and a dirty coil. That was two summers ago and it's still running fine.”
“They installed two ductless heads in our old North End house in a day. The crew was polite, cleaned up, and walked us through the remotes. We finally have air conditioning.”
