Sealing the leaks you can't see
We start by measuring how much the ducts leak, then go after the joints, boots and seams with mastic, a paint-on sealant that stays put for decades. Tape doesn't, which is why the old silver tape in your crawlspace is peeling.
While we're there we repair crushed or disconnected runs, insulate anything in unconditioned space, and check that the returns can actually feed the blower. Then we test again and show you the difference.

Duct Sealing & Repair questions
Will sealing my ducts lower my bills?+
In most older homes, noticeably. Less air lost means the furnace and AC run shorter cycles to do the same job.
Can you fix the room that's always cold?+
Usually. It's often a crushed or leaking run, a missing damper adjustment, or a return that's too small. We find out which.

What your neighbors are saying
“Our furnace quit on a Sunday night in January. They were here Monday morning, showed me the cracked igniter, gave me a price and had it running in under an hour. No upsell, no drama.”
“Second opinion saved us thousands. Another company said we needed a whole new system. Bright Peak found a failed capacitor and a dirty coil. That was two summers ago and it's still running fine.”
“They installed two ductless heads in our old North End house in a day. The crew was polite, cleaned up, and walked us through the remotes. We finally have air conditioning.”
