The job
The homeowner wanted off gas entirely. We replaced the furnace and AC with a cold-climate ducted heat pump sized for Boise's design temperature, installed a heat-pump water heater in the garage, and coordinated with the electrician on the panel work.
The result
One energy bill instead of two, the largest rebates and tax credits available on both pieces of equipment, and a house that heats fine through the inversion without a gas line.
